Northeast Ohio must unite as one cohesive region. No single city, such as Akron, Canton or Cleveland, can effectively compete for business, jobs and population in today’s global economy. United, however, Northeast Ohio is a formidable force with a population of more than 4 million and an economy that rivals many small countries.
While our region must be strong, we know that its communities must also be strong. It is critical that our cities, counties and chambers of commerce are efficient and effective.
Therefore, Team NEO strives to focus on those activities that only a regional organization can do best. For example: marketing as a region; accelerating industry clusters; serving as a user-friendly central point; and championing creative new approaches that leverage regional strengths while keeping pride/energy of our diverse local communities.
